Volunteering with lions in Kenya
This blog reveal photos of an interesting volunteering experience with lions in Kenya through Earthwatch Institute on september 2006. Here the volunteers collect data from the field to help protect Tsavo's legendary lions and find ways for lions and local communities live side by side. In Tsavo you can see a vast variety of fauna and flora superior of that shown here, as landscapes and sunshines fascinating and unforgettable. This is a real adventure where is possible to see the biggest mammals of Africa and learn more about that country, the mother language ( swahili ) and the several existing tribes, with an excellent team of support in the camp, assistants of project and organization of the Earthwatch Institute.
Consider being a volunteer with Earthwatch and you will be doing a remarkable contribute to protect these amazing lions.
